
Joint Warfighter Medical Research Program Opportunity

The Joint Warfighter Medical Research Program (JWMRP) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) has just opened. This program is designed to support the continuation of previously funded DOD medical research and development projects that align with current JWMRP focus areas. These funds, therefore, cannot be used for new projects or basic research.
FY24 JWMRP Focus Areas:
- Broad spectrum and/or pathogen agnostic approaches to prevent and/or treat endemic or emerging infectious diseases of high operational impact.
- Preventative capabilities to promote the Warfighter’s physiological and cognitive (1) performance and readiness and (2) injury prevention.
- Solutions for semi-autonomous or autonomous medical care from point of injury across the continuum of care.
- Virtual/telehealth and decision support with artificial intelligence solutions.
- Hemorrhage control and resuscitation solutions, including blood and blood products, and anti-shock therapeutics.
