Nomi Health Hires Global Health and Technology Leader Amy Wykoff as Company’s First Chief Product Officer

January 5, 2023

OREM, Utah–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Direct healthcare company Nomi Health today announced the appointment of Amy Wykoff to Chief Product Officer, a new role created to lead the company’s customer experience efforts in identifying and solving the industry’s toughest challenges. Wykoff brings both public and private sector health and technology expertise to help accelerate the company’s mission to make the highest quality health care more accessible and affordable for communities nationwide.

At Nomi Health, Wykoff focuses on developing and driving health programs that will provide critical care, access and platform solutions to benefit both the buyers of healthcare and patients alike. Reporting to Nomi Health Co-founder and CEO Mark Newman, Wykoff brings experience solving complex health care challenges to support the company as it drives a new model of operations and care delivery within the industry.

“At Nomi Health we have materially improved how healthcare is paid for and delivered. Completely rebuilding our broken healthcare system at half the cost is core to our mission. It requires vast experience from bold, creative leaders who understand public health. Amy is one of those leaders that will bring together our solutions so we can continue to affect real change in healthcare,” said Newman. “Deploying solutions to the entire health ecosystem is how we will continue to lead in making meaningful change in expanding healthcare access and driving down costs.”

Wykoff joins Nomi Health after leading health tech innovation at IBM Watson Health for over 10 years. In that role, she worked with governments and payors worldwide to design and implement products focused on supporting new models of health and social care. Additionally, Wykoff has served as Vice President of Strategy and Product Management at Curam Software, a software company that changed the way governments defined and administered social benefits. Wykoff also previously served as Director of Product Management at Oracle.

“I joined Nomi Health because I wanted to be part of the team redefining how we contract and pay for healthcare. At the end of the day, employers and governments are the organizations floating absorbent bills for a broken system. Nomi’s direct care model opens the opportunity to change the industry,” Wykoff said. “I came into healthcare through work in social services where we saw disparities of care based on socio-economic factors. Through that work I learned if we want to drive change, we have to design solutions around the complex challenges facing our most vulnerable. At Nomi Health we aren’t afraid to imagine and build a better approach.”
