Freyya Closes Oversubscribed Pre-Seed Financing to Advance FDA Regulatory Milestones, Commercialization

September 24, 2026

SAN ANTONIO/SALT LAKE CITY, UT — September XX, 2026 — Freyya Inc., a pioneer in women’s pelvic health technology, today announced the oversubscribed close of its pre-seed financing. The financing provides the capital to advance Freyya’s technology through its next regulatory milestones and continue building the foundation for commercialization.

Freyya has completed its product build and clinical testing, including its ERICA clinical study conducted at the University of Utah, and has engaged a contract manufacturer to prepare for commercial-scale production. The company is now preparing its submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and positioning for commercial release following FDA clearance.

“This financing gives Freyya the resources to stay focused on the milestones that matter most: completing our FDA submission, advancing through the regulatory process, and preparing for commercialization,” said Dr. Gabriele “Gabi” Niederauer, CEO and Co-Founder of Freyya. “We are grateful to the investors who participated, not only for their confidence in Freyya, but also for recognizing the need for continued innovation and investment in women’s health.”

Alamo Angels is Texas’ largest network of accredited angel investors and led the round. This is the second time the group has backed a company led by Dr. Niederauer, following its earlier support of Bluegrass Vascular Technologies, which exited successfully in 2023. “Gabi is the kind of founder we want to back: experienced, highly technical, and focused on solving a meaningful clinical problem,” said Sebastian Garzon, Managing Partner of Alamo Angels. “We saw firsthand what she was able to build with Bluegrass Vascular, and we are pleased to support Freyya as the company advances toward its regulatory and commercialization milestones.”

“Freyya has the potential to transform what we understand about the pelvic floor and intra-abdominal pressure, and to turn that information into data-backed plans for women recovering after childbirth, injury, or hormonal changes,” said Lara August, Freyya Board Member, entrepreneur, and angel investor. “That combination of better data and practical, personalized care is why I believe this technology can make a meaningful difference for women.”
