ATL Technology (ATL), a fast-growing provider of outsourced design, development and manufacturing services to the medical device market, today announced it has acquired manufacturing operations of Gyrus Medical Limited (Gyrus/GML) from Olympus Winter & Ibe GmbH (Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe).
Gyrus, located in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom, is also a device outsourcer and will increase both ATL’s global footprint and capabilities. In discussing this transaction, Joe Glover, CEO of ATL said, “This is a very strategic event for ATL. We look forward to incorporating Gyrus’ capabilities into ATL’s existing offerings and to expand our global footprint deeper onto the European continent.”
