IONIQ Sciences proudly announces that Mrs. Jan Poulsen is a Lung Cancer Hero

December 1, 2021

IONIQ Sciences, Inc. is delighted to share that Mrs. Jan Poulsen, our friend, has been highlighted by CURE® in their Lung Cancer Heroes 2021 Essay Book. Mrs. Poulsen is a lung cancer survivor, fighter and advocate. From the day we met Mrs. Poulsen, she has been an inspiration to our team. We are proud of her many years of hard work with LUNGevity’s Breathe Deep fun run-walk in Salt Lake City, Utah and now her work with the Utah Radon Coalition (URC) to raise awareness about the risks associated with invisible radon gas, which is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Please join us in celebrating our hero and friend. Refer to pages 106-107 of CURE’s Lung Cancer Heroes 2021 Essay Book in this link.

Their award-winning editorial and creative teams deliver Cancer Updates, Research, and Education to connect the cancer community and empower individual journeys. CURE has become the largest consumer magazine in the USA focused entirely on cancer, and the only one to be an audited member of BPA Worldwide. With a total circulation of 285,000, individual subscribers account for over 140,000 of that figure, with the remainder including cancer centers and advocacy groups around the country.

Utah Radon Coalition
The mission of the Utah Radon Coalition (URC) is to eradicate radon-induced disease by eliminating exposure to radon gas through education and awareness activities, community action, and collaborative planning and coordination. You can test your home on your own or hire a certified radon tester to do so. If you choose to test on your own, inexpensive kits are available by following this link.
