
Nucleus Institute Convergence Point Groundbreaking

On Thursday, October 1, dignitaries gathered at The Point for a groundbreaking ceremony for Convergency Point, the centerpiece building of The Point development. Jefferson Moss, Commissioner, Governor’s Office of Economic Development and CEO, Nucleus Institute, was the master of ceremonies. Speakers included Governor Spencer Cox, Speaker Mike Schultz, Senator Mike McKell, USHE Commissioner Geoff Landward, and Nucleus Institute COO Angela Smith. Convergence Point will serve as an innovation lab to build solutions to Utah’s challenging problems and host programming for the innovation economy, including life sciences. The building is scheduled to open in early 2029.
