Merit Medical Ribbon Cutting & Facility Tour

Merit Medical Systems on Wednesday marked an important milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of an expansive new distribution center in South Jordan. The center, across the street from the Merit campus, adds more than 210,000 square feet of new construction and state-of-the-art technology to move product efficiently to customers in Utah and around the world. Speakers included Merit President and CEO, Martha Aronson, Merit Board Chair, Sen. Ann Millner, and South Jordan Mayor Dawn Ramsey.

Merit President and CEO, Martha Aronson, addressed the gathering of government officials, business leaders, and other distinguished guests who gathered to mark the occasion.

Staff from the offices of Sens. Mike Lee and John Curtis, and Reps. Blake Moore, Burgess Owens, and Mike Kennedy were also on hand to support this significant investment in Utah.

Other dignitaries taking the stage to recognize Merit’s achievement included state Sen. Ann Milner, Merit Board Chair; City of South Jordan Mayor Dawn Ramsey; and Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson.

Attendees were treated to a tour of the facility following the program.
